More than 1,500 participants attended the Malaysia Young Female Entrepreneur Forum (MYFREN) 2010 on 27 October 2010 at Berjaya Time Square, Grand Ballroom. The event was officiated by YABhg Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor.

A total of 6 sessions where conducted throughout the 2 day forum where outstanding women shared their thoughts and experiences to encourage more Malaysian women to venture into the world of business. Speakers were addressing a crowd that ranged from 15 to 50 years of age.

Panelists on the forum included Ung Yiu Lin, founder of Shoes Shoes Shoes; Ho The Eng, founder of Fun Science Sdn Bhd; Farrah Adeeba, TV Personality & founder of Najjah Boutique and ADAMAS Wedding was proud to have founder Dr Kien Ling KHOO as a speaker in session 4 on TURNING PASSION INTO PROFIT, where she shared her journey as an entrepreneur who turned her passion for weddings into a business.

She was forthcoming with the fact that her background was based in science and with a PhD under her belt, it was a struggle to make the decision to leave a professional job and venture into a field that is not recognised as being professional nor viable as a career to many.

MYFREN is a comprehensive and innovative platform to encourage young females to participate in entrepreneurship and business and has managed to create a strong and wide networking platform for young women to contribute in the economic development of Malaysia in a vision to make the Vision 2020 and the Malaysia Economy Transformation Plan a success.
