"Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of services being provided by Kien Ling. She's extremely dedicated to the work and we are really glad to have chosen her as our wedding planner as it makes the job of planning so much easier. The weding was very successful and we received very good comments from the friends. Many of them said it was the best wedding that they've been to." Wai San & Chian Jie, 9 Jan 2010.

Wai San & Chian Jie wanted their wedding to be unique. The VIP table was placed in the middle of the Grand Ballroom on a raised platform with brown flowery pattern overlay and a 9' (H) center piece, the specially made wedding cake was placed at the other side of the ballroom on a raised platform near to the gallery where a wedding portrait, two albums, photo tree with photos were displayed. 6 lighted boxes were placed at the gallery area for the after party. Additional lighting had simply made the ballroom stunning, the pattern projections and colour changes set just the right mood. The illuminated water tanks placed along the red carpet (with floating orchids) create extraordinary effect when the couple walked in. All this had created the perfect balance between art and light.

ADAMAS Weddings received an enquiry from Wai San & Chian Jie via the enquiry form online mid year in 2009. After a few emails' correspondence, they decided to hire ADAMAS Weddings to be their Wedding Planner for the Big Day. They came back only twice before the wedding. ADAMAS Weddings did all the planning and updates by sharing in Google Document, chat on skype, emails and etc.

ADAMAS weddings came out with an idea of having a very tall center piece for the VIP table. The brown flowery pattern overlay, the chair tieback and the pink napkins were specially sourced for the wedding. The center piece was a white structure of approx. 9 ft (H) to be placed on the center of the table with crystal-like drops hanging down from the salix. Orchids randomly attached to the salix. Multiple glassware with orchid and imported LED lighting submerge in water to be placed surrounding the center piece. Block of candles, tea light candles and rose petals to be placed surrounding the attachements. The rest of the guest tables were decorated with either a compact arrangement of hydrangeas to be placed on top of a tall clear vase or an arrangement using white branches, hydrangeas, roses and foliages. Tea light candles and rose petals to be scattered around the table with crystal beads. The additional lighting created sophisticated and elegant atmosphere. The backdrop, center piece and cake looked great. Wai San & Chian Jie's name was projected to the backdrop.

Chian Jie surprised Wai San during her entrance (with her dad) by playing Pachelbel Canon in D , Can you feel the love tonight, Forever LOVE and A Whole New World. He even sang the last three songs while playing the piano. Wai San was so touched. After this, the light was off, the emcee was looking high and low for Lumiere - the candelabra from Beauty and the Beast to conduct the food parade, finally Lumiere was found sleeping, so the emcee had to wake him up and remind him of the wedding reception etc... Finally the video - “Be Our Guest” was played, the food parade started.

Then, the slide show for the Pre-wedding Photo Montague was being played. Wai San & Chian Jie walked over toward the specially designed wedding cake to cut the cake. Before the 2nd entrance of the couple, the Morning Ceremony Video Montague was played. The couple entered the ballroom again with the song "Close to you". The couple (Wai San wearing a pink chiffon evening gown, Chian Jie wearing the beige tuxedo) headed straight to the stage for the champagne pouring and champagne toasting ceremony. Here comes the special moment, during the 3rd toast, the couple was asked to kiss while all the guests shouted "Yum Seng", they would have to continue till the guests stopped.

The 3rd entrance, the couple (Wai San changed into a "cheongsam" type blue evening gown, Chian Jie changed into a Chinese collar grey shirt to match Wai San) entered the ballroom with the song "夜上海" ("Night of Shanghai" very famous Chinese song from the 50's), the lighting changed to red and vibrant, it matches the song perfectly well. The reception "ended" with a speech given by Wai San and they (together with their parents) bid farewell to the guests. After that - party time. There is a after party at the gallery area where the couple enjoyed and drank with their close friends and relatives. The evening ended at about 1.30am. Wai San & Chian Jie were very tired yet happy that the guests complimented on the lighting, decor etc.
