ADAMAS offers a selection of course syllabuses that provide you with the insight and knowledge into the business world of wedding planning. Not only will the courses take you step by step through a wedding day and the role of the wedding planner, they also cover the theory you will need to know to gain an overview of the market, wedding styles, marriage law and customers’ expectations.
Our Certification Program has 17 assignments and 1 final exam to educate you in becoming a wedding specialist, and equip you with the skills you require to having your own business in wedding planning.
For the Home-Based Programme, each assignment has a questionnaire which will be graded by Weddings Beautiful Malaysia & Singapore. It will then be returned to you with a note and/or corrections. It is a correspondence course so you can do it at your own pace and schedule (not exceeding 1 year after the date of enrolment).
Same course topics will be used for the Class-Based Programme, the questionnaire will be discussed during tutorial sessions. Besides classroom learning, ADAMAS School of Weddings also believes that practical lessons are a vital component in helping you acquire hands-on skill and expertise in the industry. Some highlights on practical sessions for you to look forward to throughout the Class-Based Programme :
- Session with local established down designer on “Understanding Bridal Fashion”
- Session with renown and leading wedding photographers on “The Role of a Professional Photographer in a wedding”
- Hands-on bridal bouquet making, groom boutonniere and wrist corsage creations
- Setting-up a center piece for the main table
- Visits to key wedding venues
- Wine tasting (For Non-Muslim Only)
For most of you taking the Class-Based Programme, the practical sessions will be one of the most beneficial and unforgettable experiences of undertaking the WBMS course under the guidance of Dr Khoo.
After you have completed any of the above programme (either Home-Based or Class-Based Programme) with satisfactory grades, you will receive a certificate – stating you are a Certified Wedding Specialist.
